Dentures/Partials
Dentures/ Partials
Dentures are dental devices designed to replace some or all of your teeth after they fall out or become too damaged to be restored using other methods. Two different types of dentures are available: full dentures and partial dentures. While partial dentures replace only a few of your teeth, a full set of dentures replaces all of the teeth along a dental arch.
Full and partial dentures both rest on your gums. Dentures are removable, which means you take them out for cleaning.
Many patients find that implant-supported dentures are more comfortable and secure than conventional complete dentures. However, not everyone can get implants. Patients must be in good health and have enough bone to support the implants. Ask your dentist if you are a good candidate for dental implants.
